Antique 6 Piece Meriden Brittania Co Silver Plate Aesthetic Movement Tea Set
This is a very nice Meriden Brittania co 6 piece teaser. It is pattern 1881 and the set has an Aesthetic Movement feel to it with heads that appear to be either Inca or Aztec. There are three graduated teapots with the smallest measuring 9 1/4″ high and the largest measuring 10 1/2″ high. One of the teapots has a dent and the largest teapot has some loss to the silvering. It appears from the markings on the base that the set was re-plated in 1948. I’ve done a cursory polish on the set but admittedly, I don’t love polishing so you may wish to do a more thorough polishing yourself. Please see the photos as they are part of the description.
